Rachel Flint is the Senior Vice President of Iowa Homebuilding and Land Development Operations where she provides strategic leadership, planning, and oversight of three homebuilding companies, land development and HRC Association Management. Since joining Hubbell Realty Company in 2004, she has served in leadership roles for Hubbell’s public relations, marketing, and sales. Under her leadership, more than $770 million of homes have been built and sold across Iowa.
Rachel received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a master's degree in communication leadership from Drake University. She currently serves on the Polk County Housing Trust Fund board of directors, the Executive Advisory board for Iowa State University’s Master of Real Estate Development Program and was named the 2025 President of the Home Builders Association of Iowa. In 2016, she helped found the Skilled Trades Alliance, a partnership between the business community and Des Moines Public Schools to promote skilled trades within high schools, which continues to thrive today. Rachel is a past Chair for the National Association of Home Builders 20 Clubs and a past president of the Greater Des Moines Home Builders Association.
In 2021, Hubbell Homes was awarded bronze from the National Housing Quality Award by Professional Builder Magazine, making it the only Iowa-based homebuilder to receive this prestigious award. Rachel was also an awardee of the 2021 Lloyd Clark Leadership Award from the Greater Des Moines Home Builders Association. She was recognized as the 2016 Builder of the Year and 2016 Member of the Year by the Greater Des Moines Home Builders Association.
