Johnston, IA (May 26, 2016) – Edencrest at Green Meadows, a new 64-unit assisted living and memory care community located in Johnston, welcomed business and community leaders to celebrate its ribbon cutting with the Johnston Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday afternoon. The community, an $11.4 million investment, was developed by Hubbell Realty Company. Edencrest at Green Meadows is the second community under Hubbell’s Edencrest brand. Two additional communities are planned for Beaverdale in Des Moines and Ankeny – both of which will open in 2017.

Edencrest at Green Meadows is a certified assisted living community through the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals. It features private apartments as well as common areas including a central dining room, exercise room, beauty salon and private gathering areas for family and friends. It also boasts one of the best views in town, with a large deck that overlooks the beltway and bike trail.

Edencrest at Green Meadows also has a full-time Registered Nurse, Community Manager, Life Enrichment Coordinator and Culinary Coordinator.
