Mad Meatball to reopen in LINC at Gray’s Station in spring 2020

October 4, 2019 - Mad Meatball, a popular pizza shop formerly located in the East Village, will be officially reopening in the ground floor of LINC at Gray’s Station in spring 2020.

In April, Mad Meatball announced they would be moving out of their SE 5th location, where they had resided for many years. The restaurant is known for its eclectic and retro feel, great pizza (and meatballs) and family-friendly, sports-themed environment. The new space will have more than 3,000 square feet of space which Mad Meatball will customize over the coming of months.

“We’ve been searching for a new home for Mad Meatball since making our announcement on Facebook earlier this year. While leaving the building we’ve called home for so many years wasn’t an easy decision, we know that this prime location will give us a great connection to downtown residents and visitors as well as more space to grow,” said Andy Hartman, owner of Mad Meatball.

“They will really have more space to entertain all of their loyal customers who, I’m sure, are anxiously awaiting Mad Meatball’s reopening. From the outdoor patio space to location and the direct access to major bike trails, we’re very excited to welcome Andy and his team as the first tenants of LINC at Gray’s Station,” said Bill Wright, Senior Vice President and Managing Director with CBRE | Hubbell Commercial.

LINC at Gray’s Station is currently under construction with the first phase, including the commercial space, opening in spring-2020. The bike trail connection, including the bridge to Gray’s Lake Park, will open in late fall of 2019.
