Des Moines, IA – Hubbell Realty Company will be building the third and final apartment community, called Level, within the Bridge District neighborhood in the East Village. Level will be located on the north end of the community, north of The Banks for-sale townhomes. This five-story, 114-unit apartment community will cost $26.9 million and will have beautiful views of the downtown skyline, Botanical Gardens, the Women of Achievement Bridge and the Des Moines River.

Level will have 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments as well as an on-site indoor/outdoor gym, heated parking garage and an over-sized patio that extends from the fifth-floor mezzanine. More native grasses, trees and possibly more community trails, as well as kayak storage for future water trail use, will add to the connectivity of the area.

“The idea behind Level is to blend together modern, contextual and soft architectural touches to reflect this building’s character and connection to Iowa’s river bluffs. It will undoubtedly have great access to the river, downtown and the East Village, but we want this to have a different feel than the other two communities in the Bridge District neighborhood,” said Kris Saddoris, Vice President Multi-family Development.

Level’s construction will begin in early 2020 and the community is expected to be complete in 2021.
