Hubbell Realty Company has started construction on its first industrial warehouse located at 156th St. And Schram Road. The $25 million, 260,000 square foot building is the first in a Class A industrial park which will span over 156 acres and is anticipated to have 10 buildings when complete.
Construction on Infinity I is expected to be completed in late summer 2025.
In addition to commencing construction, Rotella’s Italian Bakery Inc., a long time Omaha and La Vista-based company plans to occupy over 100,000 square feet of space.
“We are proud to not only enter into the Omaha industrial market but to be doing so alongside one of the most impactful locally owned and operated businesses in Omaha,” said Matt Weller, Vice President of Development with Hubbell. “This location offers the ultimate convenience to companies looking ahead to future growth. With nine more buildings planned at Infinity, we’re looking forward to welcoming even more growth opportunities in Sarpy County.”
“Rotella’s is looking forward to building on our successes as a nationally renowned bakery and we’re proud to call Nebraska our home. From my father’s small bakery at 21st and Pierce Street to this new warehouse, we’ve come a long way since 1921. It’s much more than a business to us – it's a lifestyle,” said Lou Rotella Jr., President & CEO, Rotella’s Italian Bakery, Inc.
Rotella’s is a 103-year-old company based out of La Vista, best known for being a nationwide leading supplier of over 500 Italian buns, rolls and bread products. Rotella’s was based out of Omaha from 1921 until 1989 when the company moved headquarters to La Vista.
Infinity I will have twenty (20) bays, up to 56 dock doors, ESFR and 32’ clear heights throughout the building. Hubbell Construction Services, the general contractor on the project, has built over 2.2 million square feet of commercial industrial space throughout Iowa for major national and international clients and this is their first in the Omaha area.
Omaha Industrial market is boasting a 2.7% vacancy rate with just over 480,000 SF delivered in 2024, according to CBRE Q2 2024 Industrial Market figures. The rapid industrial growth in the region has led to increased investment as identified by the Sarpy County Planning and Environmental Linkages, including a new I-80 interchange approximately three miles from Infinity Industrial Center.
