Joe Pietruszynski

Executive Vice President, Construction, Development and Management

As a member of the executive leadership team, Joe Pietruszynski is responsible for all aspects of development, including townhome rental communities, affordable housing, market rate multifamily, senior living, assisted living and memory care, industrial, retail, and office. He oversees the operations of Development Services, Hubbell Construction Services, Indigo Living, Investor Relations, Commercial Property Management, and Marketing.

Pietruszynski developed the first conservation community in Iowa, as well as Hubbell’s five additional conservation communities throughout Central Iowa. These communities are a leader in successful land development techniques that clean, store, and protect storm water. One of his most recent achievements includes developing an urban wetland in the Hubbell’s 75-acre Gray’s Station neighborhood that cleans and restores over 300 acres of downtown’s storm water.

Joe received his Bachelor of Science, Community and Regional Planning, Minor Economics from Iowa State University as well as his master’s in business administration from Drake University.
