Kris Saddoris provides strategic insight and planning to lead the Development division of Hubbell Realty Company. She works with developments ranging from urban neighborhood development, multi-family rental and affordable housing, to retail,
industrial sites and single-purpose uses. From initial financial analysis, site acquisition, due diligence review, rezoning and design, to construction and implementation, Kris sees a project through its entirety.
Joining Hubbell Realty Company in November 2011, Kris brings more than 33 years of real estate development experience within the Greater Des Moines market. Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in the creation of more than 80 multi-family communities across Iowa. She was employed for many years with the leading developer of affordable housing in the State of Iowa, and directed both the property management and development divisions of a long-time Des Moines area real estate company. Additionally, Kris has broad experience as a real estate development consultant, working with national developers and lenders as well as non-profit and governmental entity clients.
Kris has developed a wide variety of development products with Hubbell including more than 6,000 multi-family units, mixed-use and mixed-income developments, almost 1 million square feet of industrial space, as well as retail and medical product. She has a vast range of experience utilizing multiple capital stack sources including both federal and historic tax credits, low income housing tax credits, tax increment financing, CDBG, HOME, Enterprise Zone credits, Workforce Housing tax credits, as well as redevelopment tax credits for both Brownfield and Grayfield sites.
