Accountant

The Hubbell corporate office has several openings in the accounting and finance department, including a general accountant position. This position is responsible for financial reporting, entity budgeting for their responsible portfolio, systems setup and maintenance, and relationship/business management. The accounting team works out of the Hubbell Realty Company headquarters at 6900 Westown Parkway, with a hybrid work scheduling available.

Hoping to be successful in this position? Ideal candidates would have analytical, intrapersonal, and management skills with a strong attention to detail, along with general accounting experience and education.

Maintenance Associate

Indigo Living is hiring maintenance associates both in Clive, Iowa and in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This position is responsible for making sure all apartment homes are ready for the new residents and helping to keep our communities “picture perfect” by performing basic grounds maintenance, including landscaping, trash, and debris pickup, weeding, mulching, and light seasonal snow removal, among other duties assigned.

This role is perfect for candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional service, willing to get their hands dirty, and experienced in general maintenance. This position works with people every day so if you’re a social butterfly, this may be for you!

Residential Property Manager

Speaking of Indigo Living, they are also looking for residential property managers in the Des Moines area. Residential property managers are responsible for helping coach leasing consultants to help them become assistant managers, reviewing leasing reports from the team, and all things related to the team they manage. This position also works closely with residents and collaborates with the maintenance team. Let’s not forget that these are the Go-Getter's that get to lead all the fun community-based events like rooftop patio parties, Easter egg hunts and many more yearly events.

This opening is perfect for dynamic candidates who are natural leaders and understand the big picture. Residential property managers should be natural communicators, and are flexible, with at least 2 years supervising multifamily communities.

HH Assistant Superintendent

The last of our featured job opportunities is with Hubbell Homes, right here in Des Moines. The assistant superintendent works closely with the builder to manage jobsites and conduct regular inspections. Assistant superintendents with Hubbell Homes will also work with the field manager to assist in home starts and assist in carpentry and construction tasks with the builder.

The assistant superintendent will be travelling between jobs in the Des Moines area and will be very physically active in the role. If you like dynamic work and have a degree in construction engineering or an equivalent, this position is for you.
