Steph is a former owner/operator of her own custom homebuilding company and an award-winning realtor with 25 years of experience in the homebuilding industry.
Q: Who is the ideal homebuyer who may build with Embarq?

Q: What does the process look like for building with Embarq?
Embarq Signature Homes works in a four-part process: the initial consultation, planning and building, design input and review, and your final walkthrough and approvals. Steph refers to the homebuilding experience as “the journey of a lifetime” and she hopes to help people “love the journey” as they work through the process with Embarq homes.
What is your favorite part of the Embarq journey?
Steph loves to take all the different ideas from a customer and make them possible in a home. Her “favorite thing is when somebody comes to me, and they’ve got all these ideas in their heads, but they’re not finding it because they’re mixing up a bunch of different houses, then they get it on a piece of paper, and they go ‘you get it.’” Steph and the rest of the team make sure homeowners are happy with their home years after they move in.
How long does it take to build with Embarq?
It depends on factors like layout, features and finishes. Our goal is to complete homes within approximately 6 months of breaking ground, but there are many factors that can come into play. This is discussed during the initial meeting and transparently communicated throughout the build process. Throughout the rest of the design process, building, and final walkthrough, you will have input into every aspect of the home.
