West Des Moines, IA (October 1, 2015) – Hubbell Realty Company welcomed community leaders last week to Legacy Landing, a multi-family apartment community, to celebrate its official grand opening.

 

Legacy Landing, an $11 million development, is located at 2701 Cedar Street in Norwalk and is right across the street from Hubbell’s Cedarbrooke Place apartment community, which opened last year and is completely leased. 

 

“Norwalk is a city we have heavily invested in over the last few years – it offers great amenities to both families and young professionals, and is only minutes from downtown Des Moines,” said Kris Saddoris, Vice President of Development for Hubbell Realty Company.

 

Legacy Landing offers 120 units, and is Hubbell’s first market rate apartment community in Norwalk. The one-, two-, and three-bedrooms have upgraded finishes, washer/dryer and walk-in closets within the units. Hubbell is introducing a first-of-its-kind at Legacy Landing with its “social pool.”

 

“This is a narrower pool, allowing more social interaction rather than swimming,” Saddoris added. “We are starting to see them in other markets and wanted to bring one to the metro area.”

 

The social pool is accompanied by a fire pit and outdoor living space. Residents calling Legacy Landing home will have a clubhouse, patio and grilling area to create a unique outdoor living space. Additionally, they also have access to a workout facility, media room and community area that includes a kitchen and sitting area.
