West Des Moines, IA (July 31, 2015) – A special kick-off celebration was held Thursday evening for Hubbell Realty’s newest development, Bridge District. Nestled on the east bank of the Des Moines River, south of the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden and west of the East Village, Bridge District is a new urban neighborhood in the core of downtown Des Moines.  Construction on Phase I begins in August and is scheduled to open in Summer of 2016.

Verve @ Bridge District includes two buildings with 128 apartment homes and a community room with a fantastic view of the Des Moines River. The $19.9 million project offers one-, two-, and three –bedroom apartments with contemporary interiors. 

 

The Banks @ Bridge District will be upscale, urban townhomes with rooftop patios offering one-of-kind views of downtown Des Moines. Phase I of construction will include 43 for sale homes, starting at $400,000. Estimated project cost is $15.8 million.

 

Included in Phase I, is a pocket park designed to extend the riverfront into the neighborhood and connect it with a series of park-like green corridors and streetscapes.
