Des Moines (July 25, 2017) – Hubbell Apartment Living, along with the City of Des Moines, held the grand opening of 5Fifty5 Townhomes on Tuesday. These 47 urban-style townhomes feature two and three bedrooms, all situated along the Raccoon River, downtown bike paths and adjacent to the newly renovated Jackson Street Bridge. The $13 million community presents a streetscape design which encourages walkability and connecting residents to downtown and Gray’s Lake Park. One of the most distinct features of these homes is the fantastic views overlooking the downtown skyline to the north and the river to the south.

“This is one of my favorite projects. As a very new product to downtown, it’s done remarkably well. We were able to take an empty piece of land and make a beautiful connection to the river with the renovated bridge and trails,” said Kris Saddoris, Hubbell’s Vice President of Multi-Family Development. Of the 47 townhomes for rent, Hubbell is proud to announce 90 percent are leased.
