DES MOINES, IA – Hubbell Realty Company, along with Senior Housing Management of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and the Beaverdale neighborhood, announced the start of construction of a 20-apartment expansion of Edencrest at Beaverdale Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Edencrest at Beaverdale currently has 60 Assisted Living and Memory Care apartments. With this expansion, the community will have a total of 80. The addition, an over $4 million investment, is scheduled to welcome new residents in Spring 2020. The Edencrest at Beaverdale expansion will offer a unique amenity for independent seniors. Ten of the apartments will feature full kitchens, which are the only apartments in the Edencrest portfolio to offer this amenity.
Edencrest at Beaverdale boasts a culture of independence for residents and their families in a state-of-the-art environment. The community offers residents three restaurant-style meals daily in family dining rooms, complimentary transportation to appointments and activities, a busy calendar of life-enriching activities and access to an in-house spa, exercise room and beauty/barber salon, to name a few.
