Des Moines, IA (July 11, 2019) - Hubbell has completed renovating a portion of the Woodland Hills Golf Course in preparation for Hubbell Homes to expand new home construction along the course. The 27-hole course now features five redesigned holes along the Front 9 that will enhance player experiences.
"We are excited that we can open this portion of the course for the remainder of the season and debut our newly renovated course to avid golfers and enthusiasts. The end result of the project is five new and fun holes for golfers of all skill levels and an overall better experience on our great course,” Ken Norland, Director of Operations at Woodland Hills Golf Course.
The holes were redesigned to make way for a Hubbell Homes expansion to the north of the course, including 60 additional single-family homes and villas. This addition will allow Hubbell Homes to expand on the very popular products selling throughout the neighborhood and in the ever-growing suburb of Des Moines/Ankeny.
“We’ll have an additional 60 single-family and multi-family homes expanding into Front 9 of the course, which means more homes with beautiful golf course views and tree-lined backyards,” said April Seydel, Sales Manager for Hubbell Homes.
In addition to the newly designed course, both Woodland Hills and Copper Creek Golf Courses have brand-new golf carts featuring GPS technology with built-in music and media outlets for players to use.
