CBRE Brokers Win Multiple 2020 ICREA Awards

CBRE |Hubbell Commercial brokers brought home numerous awards from the 2020 Iowa Commercial Real Estate Association (ICREA) Awards which were announced on Monday.

Of the awards, CBRE| Hubbell Commercial won the following:

Berg, who helped pave the way in the local commercial real estate business for women, died March 17 after a brief illness. Berg began her career as a teacher until 1991 when she discovered her love for the commercial real estate industry, first at Crowley Mandelbaum and then at CBRE | Hubbell Commercial in 1991 until her passing.

Nadja Wirth, a CBRE|Hubbell Sales Associate, knew Berg for nearly four years and was mentored by her. The mentorship was developed through CREW Iowa, a group for women involved in all aspects of commercial real estate.

“She was a phenomenal mentor because she truly cared about me as a person,” Wirth said. “It wasn’t just advice about the business, but it was ‘How can I help you?’ and ‘Here are ways you can better yourself.’”

Berg was a dear friend and is missed greatly by her CBRE |Hubbell Commercial colleagues.

The Iowa Commercial Real Estate Association was formed in 2002 by professionals seeking to advance the commercial real estate industry throughout the State of Iowa. ICREA began with about 100 members, mostly in Central Iowa. Today, ICREA  is a statewide association of hundreds of professionals engaged in many areas of the commercial real estate industry. We partner with several other organizations to promote the success and interests of our members.
