WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (November 28, 2016) – Hubbell Realty Company announced today that its Hubbell Homes division will have 33 single family homes in the first phase of construction in Heritage Park, a neighborhood south of SW Magazine Road in the popular Prairie Trail neighborhood in Ankeny. Homes will be ready in early 2017. 

In the Prairie Trail neighborhood, homeowners have 13 miles of trails and approximately 200 acres of park land. “It is these common open spaces that people have come to love,” explained Rachel Flint, vice president of Hubbell Homes. “We are thrilled to be a part of a growing area in Ankeny and are very excited to offer this selection of single family homes.”

Hubbell Homes is introducing several new floor plans in this community for its single family customer. Ranging from 1700 square feet to over 2400 square feet, and a variety of ranch and two-story, the prices range from approximately $325,000 to $400,000. 

Already completed are townhomes which feature 1,500 to 1,700 square feet and are priced in the $200,000 range. Both exhibit the eclectic character that defines the Prairie Trail neighborhood. 

Families with college-bound students may want to take an extra look at living in Prairie Trail as residents of the Prairie Trail neighborhood are eligible to receive up to $10,000 in scholarship funds. This fund was started as a feature of the community and is self-sustaining because one half of one percent of the sale of all property in Prairie Trail is allocated to the Scholarship Fund. Heritage Park at Prairie Trail will be developed in three phases. When complete, the neighborhood will total 33 acres with 61 single family homes and 67 townhomes. It is a $22 million investment in Ankeny.
