Hubbell Realty Company has renovated the entrances, lobbies and community spaces of Court Avenue and Marketplace Lofts along Court Avenue in downtown Des Moines. The outer facing facade, which is in between Spaghetti Works and Johnny’s Hall of Fame as well as to the south of Blue Sushi, will keep its historical structure while the inside will be much more modern.
The interior lobbies will now feature an array of updates including; new front desk spaces, business rooms and conference spaces, updated kitchen areas, as well as lounge areas with a fireplace, TV’s and bar seating. The renovations also feature fun community room games, like air hockey, shuffleboard and pool, perfect for socializing and an upgrade to on-site fitness rooms.
“After opening in the late 2000’s, it was definitely time to give the Court Avenue and Marketplace Lofts community spaces refreshing face lifts. We wanted to keep the exterior similar to match the Court Ave. District, but the inside will now feature a much more appealing and friendly space for our residents to use and enjoy,” said Darcy Valline, Vice President of Hubbell Apartment Living.
Due to COVID-19, the community rooms do have capacity restrictions in place, apartment teams will clean the spaces multiple times a day and cleaning supplies will also be onsite for residents to use before and after each use. As of today, the space is officially open for residents to use. To learn more about the communities, visit https://www.courtavelofts.com/
